Hopeful Aging

We invite you to view our regular online TV series, Hopeful Aging (see below), another key element of Hearthstone’s commitment to the latest in memory care education and innovation,

Hosted by Hearthstone President and CEO, Dr. John Zeisel, leading member of the Institute teaching team, this monthly interview show promotes the positive public narrative that is so seldom aired about Alzheimer’s and other dementias.

With or without dementia everyone can live a hopeful and engaging life.

Dr. Zeisel interviews researchers, politicians, medical professionals, journalists and artists committed to improving the lives of people with cognitive issues. Everyone has something interesting to say, and shares their sometimes very personal experiences.

Says Dr. Zeisel, “The show’s mission is to create a life worth living for all of us as we get older, especially those with cognitive challenges, by enriching lives and offering hope. I want viewers to see the strengths of all of us as we age and to appreciate that disability of any sort does not have to mean that we abandon our connection to life.”
